Mike Rogers
Raised in Duxbury, MA, Michael “Mike” Rogers began formal training in classical piano at the age of five, winning a piano competition at age nine at Carnegie Hall. Mike received his bachelor’s degree in Music and Film from Wesleyan University. Mr. Rogers also received an internship with Robert Redford’s Sundance Film Studio in Utah. While teaching elementary and middle school music, he built his first studio / teaching facility. During this time, he created the first Dueling Piano show in Salt Lake City and opened a school to teach these skills to aspiring practitioners of this popular entertainment. Mike received his Masters in Music from the University of Utah. Along with his dream of opening FSCA, Mr. Rogers brings a lifetime of teaching and performing skills to HHJ. In his spare time He enjoys almost everything he does with equal vigor and passion.
Gene Viviano
Gene Viviano is a classical and popular piano player. A retired process engineer and industrial businessman, Gene now enjoys volunteering his musical talents to individuals housed in healthcare facilities. A native of New York, Gene and his wife Karen now reside in Ocean Isle Beach, NC. Gene has a variety of interests including playing pickleball, traveling, photography, cooking, music, model railroading and gardening. He will be happy to bring his enthusiastic piano playing to a facility near you!
Jennifer LaDue
Jennifer LaDue is a vocalist and songwriter. Jennifer was trained in music from Los Angeles City College, and continues training with Free Spirit Conservatory of the Arts. A prior Flight Attendant, Jennifer felt the strong call to music. She has subsequently dedicated her life to the Arts. She enjoys relaxation, meditation, acting, performing music, writing, reading and engaging in anything comedic in nature. Jennifer will joyfully perform your favorite hits at any local resident facility.
Jeff Saunders
Jeff Saunders is a Quantum Executive, with an extensive range of knowledge and experience in the field of event management, content creation, culinary arts, graphic arts, event management, all things entrepreneurial and enjoys fast-paced work in the field of commercial creation, from the ground up. When Jeff is not eagerly tackling new projects, he enjoys cooking for friends and, in his words, “dancing with strangers”.
Lea Saunders
Lea Saunders is a retired Registered Nurse, with over two decades of experience in the specialty of surgical trauma ICU. Lea now works as a facilitator at Free Spirit Conservatory of the Arts, and is one of the founding members of Hope, Healing and Joy. Lea brings her passion for healing and vast organizational skills to HHJ supplying a fresh much needed view of these endeavors. In her free time, Lea enjoys skiing, swimming in the ocean and, in her words, “subpar but extremely enthusiastic dancing”.
